NUREL PARTICIPATES IN THE AGROACTIFILM PROJECT<\/h1>

FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACTIVE MULCH FILMS WITH ANTIFUNGAL AND ANTIBOTRYTIS PROPERTIES IN BERRY CROPS.<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), an entity attached to the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, has approved 161 new RD&I projects.<\/p>\n

Among these projects is AGROACTIFILM, a project in which REYENVAS and NUREL collaborate<\/strong>, whose main objective is to develop active agricultural mulch films<\/strong> for red fruit crops with antifungal and antibotrytis properties<\/strong>, through the controlled release of natural substances incorporated in the film itself. Soil biodegradable films will also be developed, manufactured from our INZEA biopolymers; as well as other polyethylene-based films.<\/p>\n

This project aims to cover one of the most demanded environmental needs in agriculture today, avoiding the use of toxic fungicides<\/strong>. Additionally, it will provide an economic advantage to the farmer by reducing the use of TIF plastics, as well as an environmental advantage in the case of biodegradable films.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
