NUREL supporting female talent: International Day of Women and Girls in Science

11/02/2026

At NUREL, we are joining today’s celebrations for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This date, established by the United Nations General Assembly, aims to promote full and equal access to and participation in science for women, while also encouraging scientific vocations among the younger generations.

As a leading company in the production of polymers and synthetic fibres, we recognise that innovation and technical progress are only possible through a diversity of perspectives. In our R&D, quality, and chemistry laboratories, female talent is not only present but is leading key projects for the development of new industrial solutions.

9 testimonials, one shared passion

To mark this 11th February, we wanted to give a voice to nine of our colleagues. Through a series of visual testimonials, we explore the careers and reflections of professionals who are role models in their field. Their insights reflect the passion, hard work, and the importance of having female representation within the STEM sector.

From the experience of our department heads to the energy of the new generations represented by our interns and placement students, all agree on one clear message: female talent is essential for science to reach its full potential.

Building role models

At NUREL, we reaffirm our commitment to highlighting the contributions of women in our industry and publicising their achievements.

We believe that showcasing these real-life stories is the best way to inspire the girls who dream of becoming the scientists of tomorrow.

We would like to thank all our colleagues for their dedication and their fundamental role in the evolution of our products and processes. Their daily work is proof that in science there are no gender limits—only horizons to be discovered.

Happy International Day of Women and Girls in Science!
