Inauguration of a State-of-the-Art Nylon Spinning Plant in Zaragoza

Zaragoza, Spain – We are pleased to announce the inauguration of our latest nylon spinning facility located at our Zaragoza site. This development marks the third spinning operation within our premises, underscoring our commitment to innovation and excellence in the textile industry. Equipped with the most advanced technology, this addition cements our position at the forefront of the textile industry.

Consistent with our commitment to environmental stewardship, the newly inaugurated plant is powered by our in-house photovoltaic solar plant. This strategic decision supports our objective to significantly reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainable operational growth. The facility has been meticulously designed to optimize resource efficiency and minimize waste production.

This new investment significantly improves our capabilities in producing ultra-micro yarns, enabling a strategic shift in our product mix. By expanding our capacity to manufacture ultra-fine yarns, we not only diversify our product variety but also increase the total volume capacity of our plant to a total of 8.5 kt/year with this new mix. This enhancement shows our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the market while maintaining our leadership in innovation and quality.

The new spinning plant is now an integral part of our comprehensive Zaragoza site ecosystem, which encompasses polymerization, recycling units, and facilities for spinning, drawing, and warping. This integration highlights our holistic approach to textile manufacturing, ensuring that each stage, from raw materials to the final product, is carried out with efficiency and sustainability at every step.
