INSTALLATION OF PHASE I ENERGY STORAGE BY MEANS OF BATTERIES CONNECTED TO THE PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANT AT NUREL, S.A.

NUREL promotes sustainability with a new storage installation for our solar photovoltaic plant.
At NUREL, S.A. we reaffirm our commitment to innovation, the environment and energy efficiency with the installation of the first phase of energy storage by means of batteries, with a capacity of 2,600 kW, linked to our solar photovoltaic plant.
This project, co-financed by the NextGenerationEU Fund as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and managed by the Government of Aragon, has involved an investment of €1,777,967.55, with a grant of €618,424.19.

Key details of the installation:

• Storage capacity: 5 MWh.
• Power: 2,600 kW.
• Configuration: Three containers.

• We achieve greater energy self-sufficiency, reducing our external dependency.
• We make the most of solar energy, accumulating surpluses to optimise its use.
• We reduce CO₂ emissions and move towards decarbonisation.
