NUREL SYNTHETIC FIBERS PARTICIPATES IN THE MICAPOLTER PROJECT

THE GENERAL OBJECTIVE IS TO DEVELOP NEW FIBER MANUFACTURING STRATEGIES WITH FUNCTIONAL PROPERTIES.

The textile division of NUREL together with the University of Zaragoza, participate in the project Thermic-resistant polymeric microcapsules to improve the performance of textiles (MICAPOLTER). The general objective of this Project is to develop new fiber manufacturing strategies with functional properties.

MICAPOLTER is included within the framework of the call for Challenges-Collaboration, whose main objective is to support projects in cooperation between companies and research organizations, in this case NUREL and the University of Zaragoza, in order to promote the development of new technologies, the business application of new ideas and techniques, and contribute to the creation of new products.

The project with reference RTC-2015-3503-5, is financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of the Government of Spain within the State Program of Research, Development and Innovation Oriented to the Challenges of the Society within the framework of the State Research Plan Scientific and Technical and Innovation 2013-2016 and under the call RETOS – COLABORACIÓN 2015, whose objective is to promote technological development, innovation and quality research.
