Sustainable fibers
Recycled, biobased, biodegradable and bio‑circular nylon 6 and 6.6 fibers that reduce environmental impact
Sustainable nylon solutions
At NUREL, we have developed new fibres with the aim of mitigating environmental impact across the entire textile value chain, from initial fibre production to garment waste management at the end of their life cycle.
Over the past decade, our R&D&I team has come to understand that sustainability is the way forward for the textile industry.
Thanks to this conviction, we are now in a position to offer a wide range of products that meet the demanding requirements of different sustainability approaches within the textile sector (solutions for both polymers and fibres based on recycled, biodegradable, bio‑based and bio‑circular technologies).
These approaches encompass durability, recyclability, biodegradation and the reduction of fossil resource use, all of which are essential for a more sustainable future in fashion and the textile industry as a whole.
Different nylon technologies contribute to different sustainability goals.
One product for each CHALLENGE
- For textiles seeking to reduce their environmental impact, we present our Reco‑Nylon range, made up of 100% recycled fibres, as well as our NERIDE Colortech fibres, which are solution‑dyed and reduce water and energy consumption during the production process.
- For fabrics committed to reducing synthetic materials in the environment, we introduce NERIDE Biodegradable, which is biologically assimilated in different environments.
- For the replacement of conventional materials with circular‑origin alternatives, we offer NERIDE Biocircular and NERIDE Biobased, made from raw materials derived from different types of waste.
Environmental accountability
Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) provide transparent data on the environmental impact of our materials.
