NERIDE FIR fibers incorporate gemstone minerals that naturally help to restore this magnetic field and the associated benefits to the body’s inner balance.

Far Infrared combined with negative ions provides gentle heat and catalyzes increased oxygen transport in the blood cells, resulting in better metabolism during the night and more energy for the day.

This new additive containing a proprietary blend of mineral silicate additives has 2 main mechanisms of action:

  • Increased blood flow by pushing the blood platelets at a faster rate. It is also said to increase blood oxygen / hemoglobin levels.

NERIDE FIR fiber specifications and processing

The procedure usually consists of presenting 2 identical fabric constructions, one of which is made of virgin material and the other of functional material. Threads or fibers alone cannot be tested, but a structure (quilt, fabric or garment) must be involved.

For infrared emission, dense and heavier fabrics (1m) are recommended to better see the delta, especially in thermal resistivity (i.e. 150-200gsm).

NERIDE FIR is created according to the following regulations:

  • FTTS-FA-010. Specified requirements for far infrared textiles.
  • ISO 11092/EN 31092 Heat resistance (Rct)
  • ASTM D1518 Intrinsic heat resistance (Clo)
