- XTRA-FRESH yarns are free of nanomaterials (2011/696 / EU).
- Provides long-lasting protection against bacteria to the tissues, without altering the balance of the skin.
- XTRA-FRESH doesn’t protect the textile user against microbes, it only prevents the proliferation of bacteria in the fabric, which are the cause of bad odor.
- XTRA-FRESH fibers protect and keep fabrics odor-free for longer.
- XTRA-FRESH has been tested according to ISO 20743: “DIN EN ISO 20743: 2007, Textiles – Determination of antibacterial activity of antibacterial products”, International Organization for Standardization (2007). Equivalent to JIS L 1902: 2008.
- Complies with REACH, Oekotex and European Biocide legislation (European Regulation 28/2012).

Processing conditions
- To optimize the use of XTRA-FRESH fibers, please download our document outlining general processing conditions.
- Weavers are advised to adhere to these particular guidelines for scouring, bleaching, fixing, and finishing.
- Fabrics incorporating our antimicrobial fibers yield optimal results when composed entirely of 100% XTRA-FRESH yarn. While it is possible to blend XTRA-FRESH with other fibers, we suggest limiting the proportion of non-antimicrobial fibers to less than 15%.
- NUREL conducts efficacy tests to evaluate the antimicrobial effectiveness of fabrics.
