Compounds PBT, PET and reinforced PBT/PET

Our wide range of Proxylene compounds includes non-reinforced and up to 50% reinforced PBT compounds. High fluidity and medium viscosity grades are available to cover all types of injection and extrusion applications.

In addition, hydrolysis-resistant and flame-retardant PBT grades with different characteristics are available.

PBT/PET reinforced grades of NUREL are reinforced with up to 30% glass fiber and are available with high and/or medium fluidity.

The Proxylene range includes PET grades reinforced with up to 60% reinforcement and with various properties, such as flame retardant and impact modified.

Proxylene flame retardant solutions

Proxylene offers a wide range of flame retardant PBT and PET compouns for the most demanding electrical and electronic applications. Flame-retardant PBT and PET compounds are used for the manufacture of circuit breakers, connectors, industrial plugs and electronic switchgear, as well as for high-voltage applications.

All our flame retardant developments comply with the most demanding market standards: V0 self-extinguishing and glow wire resistance (GWFI) up to 960ºC.

Our Proxylene Flame Retardant (FR) product range includes unreinforced PBT FR grades, and glass fiber reinforced PBT FR and PET FR grades to cover a wide range of applications.

Our knowledge in polymer engineering and a precise selection of additives allow us to combine excellent mechanical properties with a high grade of flame resistance.

In line with NUREL‘s commitment to environmental sustainability, all our Proxylene FR grades are also available halogen-free, such as Proxylene B95 P2 U0 and B95 P2 G30 U0, which offer lower density and a high CTI (Comparative tracking index).

Hydrolysis resistant

NUREL offers polyamide 6 and PBT grades, designed to provide resistance to moisture, coolants, fuels, oil and chemical corrosion, concentrated environmental exposures and high temperatures.

Reinforced solutions

Our mineral filler, glass fiber and steel fiber reinforced solutions achieve the best performance for injection molding and extrusion applications.

Thermal stabilization

PA grades with excellent long-term thermal stabilization up to 180ºC are available. Thanks to our innovative technology, we offer highly thermally stabilized grades free of metallic and halogenated compounds.

Flame Retardant

Flame resistant grades that meet the most demanding requirements, from V2 to V0 in UL94 and a GWFI of up to 960º. Halogen-free solutions and EN45545 grades available.
