Polyamide6 for monofilaments, multifilaments, bcf and 3d filaments

Filament extrusion has always been a traditional application for polyamide 6. Our special high viscosity grades produced in our polymerization plant are used for the manufacture of monofilaments and microfilaments.

NUREL offers a wide range of polyamide 6 homopolymers and copolyamides for monofilament applications such as guides for viticulture, fishing nets, cutting lines in lawn mowers, hot melt filaments for adhesives in sportswear and clothing, filaments for 3D printing, etc.

Our broad product portfolio includes grades for the extrusion of medium and high tenacity multifilament fibers used in applications such as carpets, fishing nets, ropes and industrial fabrics.

Promyde offers a wide range of viscosities to suit the needs of each application in terms of toughness, strength and elongation.

Promyde B33 is our medium viscosity grade for general applications such as fishing nets, industrial filaments, ropes, etc. For medium and high thicknesses (up to 5mm), high viscosity polyamide compounds are also available in our catalog.

NUREL also offers specific products with improved compatibility with acid dyes and which offer improved softness and flexibility, being specially designed for the manufacture of fabrics.

On the other hand, we have copolyamide grades specially designed for 3D printing that stand out for their high flexibility and improved adhesion between layers.

Hydrolysis resistant

Applications

Monofilaments

Promyde® and Proxylene range includes high and medium viscosity grades for monofilament extrusion and specialty grades with improved transparency and flexibility.

Multifilaments

Promyde® PA6 covers the needs for the production of yarn for delicate garments and technical clothing. Low viscosity grades available for textile fiber spinning processes.

3D

Promyde offers polyamide and copolyamides specially developed for 3D printing, improving the performance of standard grades on the market.

BCF

Promyde® offers specific polymers for BCF fibers for the manufacture of carpets and rugs, controlling the amino groups to ensure a homogeneous dyeing of the filaments.
