POLYAMIDE 6 AND COPOLYAMIDES FOR MONOFILAMENT EXTRUSION
The Promyde® PA6 range includes high and medium tenacity grades for monofilament extrusion, as well as special grades with improved transparency and flexibility for applications like fishing nets, deep-sea moorings, safety belts, geotextiles, crop protection systems, and filtration systems.
Furthermore, we have introduced grades with high thermal resistance and excellent mechanical properties, specifically developed for tire reinforcement, conveyor belts, and hoses.
MEDIUM AND HIGH VISCOSITY POLYAMIDE 6 FOR MONOFILAMENTS
Promyde® offers a wide range of viscosities to meet customer needs in terms of tenacity, tensile strength, and elongation. Promyde B33 is our medium-viscosity product for general use in applications such as fishing nets, industrial filaments, and ropes. For medium to high thicknesses or diameters up to 5 mm, we recommend our high-viscosity PA6 grades Promyde B36, B40, and B50. Additionally, NUREL offers specific products to enhance acid compatibility.
COPOLYAMIDE 6/6.6 FOR FLEXIBLE AND TRANSPARENT MONOFILAMENTS
Flexible monofilaments require specific technical parameters. For clear water fishing, we offer Promyde B540 or B533, which are copolyamides 6/6.6 that enable the production of nets and fishing lines with high transparency, flexibility, and improved mechanical properties.
Cutting threads are monofilaments that demand an elastic material with high durability and resistance to abrasion. For these applications, Promyde B940, our new highly flexible copolyamide, meets these requirements.
APPLICATIONS:
In addition to aquaculture solutions, our polyamide for monofilaments can be used in gardening as cutting tools for lawnmowers and trimmers, in the manufacture of mesh for tennis rackets and tennis nets, in the production of bristles, safety belts, geotextiles, crop protection systems, filtration systems, tire reinforcement, conveyor belts, and hoses.
