Polyamide 6 for extrusion blow molding
Large agrochemical containers, small bottles with chemical barrier and cooling systems in vehicles are extrusion blow molded parts. Promyde® offers a range of polyamides that combine the right viscosity with the required elasticity to be blown.
The need for polymers with temperature resistance and mechanical performance properties after aging under temperature has increased the use of polyamides in automotive blown extrusion applications. It is commonly used in air intake manifolds, exhaust intercoolers, turbochargers and compressed air tanks.
