To better meet the demands of the engineering polymers market, NUREL offers coloured compounds. Manufacturing high-quality coloured PA, PBT, PBT/PET, and PP compounds within a short timeframe requires precision and flexibility to accommodate individual customer requests.
Coloration can vary in difficulty, with some basic colours being easier to achieve while others present significant challenges. Certain demanding colour samples may even change their appearance after production. Therefore, expertise in pigment utilization is crucial to ensure consistency with the desired specifications and to avoid unwanted variations.
The availability of different colour charts such as RAL, combined with our customers’ high expectations, have led NUREL to invest in new equipment and develop the necessary expertise to achieve precise colour matching.
Bright orange RAL 2003
NUREL has developed an exclusive new formulation for the bright orange colour RAL 2003. This colour is required by EV manufacturers for high-voltage applications, as it is essential for easy recognition and safety purposes. Moreover, the RAL 2003 colour must exhibit exceptional stability over time at high temperatures.
In addition to meeting colour stability requirements, NUREL offers new flame-retardant technical plastics for the e-mobility market. Promyde®, Proxylene® and Olexene® compounds provide high electrical insulation, characterized by a CTI of 600V. Through the use of cutting-edge orange pigments and halogen-free flame retardant additives, we exceed the highest safety standards in this emerging field of sustainable mobility.

NUREL supplies PA, PBT/PET and PP compounds in the required colours for the industrial sector. Including RAL 7035 (grey) and RAL 9000 (white), specifically designed for electrical components.
In addition, at NUREL we develop customized colours. Customers provide us with a specific colour code or a sample of their final part, in order to make the colour adjustment according to the code or part. Accurate L.A.B. colour measurements are then analyzed to ensure that the desired shade is achieved.
