PROMYDE®: REINFORCED PA6 AND PA66

REINFORCED POLYAMIDES REPRESENT ONE OF OUR MOST VERSATILE FAMILIES:

AVAILABLE REINFORCEMENTS FOR PA6 AND PA66

  • Glass fiber (from 10% to 60%) 
  • Glass beads and special glass fibers for improved dimensional stability and excellent surface finish 
  • Combination of glass fibers and beads for an optimal balance between dimensional stability and high mechanical properties 
  • Mineral fillers (from 20% to 40%)

PROXYLENE®: REINFORCED PBT AND PBT/PET

IDEAL FOR COMPONENTS REQUIRING DIMENSIONAL STABILITY, CHEMICAL RESISTANCE, LOW MOISTURE ABSORPTION, AND EXCELLENT ELECTRICAL PERFORMANCE.

REINFORCEMENTS AVAILABLE FOR PBT

  • Glass fiber (up to 50%) 
  • Glass beads (up to 30%)

PROXYLENE®: REINFORCED PET

OUR RANGE OF REINFORCED PET COMPOUNDS IS DESIGNED TO OFFER HIGH-PERFORMANCE SOLUTIONS, COMBINING MECHANICAL STRENGTH, DIMENSIONAL STABILITY, AND LOW MOISTURE ABSORPTION.

  • Glass fiber from 15% to 60%

PROXYLENE®: REINFORCED PP

Designed as a lightweight, cost-effective alternative to other engineering polymers. We offer both PP homopolymer and PP copolymer grades.

SUSTAINABLE COMPOUNDS FORMULATED FROM PRE- AND POST-CONSUMER WASTE, WITH MECHANICAL PROPERTIES COMPARABLE TO VIRGIN MATERIALS.

PET reinforced solutions for high temperatures

PROXYLENE PET fiberglass reinforced grades show excellent stability to prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Our PROXYLENE developments are especially recommended for long-term applications at temperatures up to 180ºC.

Its excellent high temperature stability, coupled with its low moisture absorption, dimensional stability and mechanical properties make PROXYLENE PET fiberglass reinforced grades the material of choice for the most demanding applications.

These grades also feature an optimum balance between strength and stiffness, creep resistance and high surface gloss even at elevated temperatures. The Proxylene range has grades with a glass fiber content of up to 60%.

PROXYLENE PET fiberglass reinforced grades show excellent stability to prolonged exposure to high temperatures.

Structural reinforced parts

Vehicle structures, such as handgrips, require specialized solutions with high flowability and excellent surface finish, which also facilitate efficient heat dissipation, ensuring optimal functionality and durability under demanding conditions.

Bearings, gears, components and accessories

Abrasion resistant, Promyde B40 can be used to manufacture essential parts in printing machines, such as rollers.

Tools

Promyde's extensive range of materials are a commitment to technical and value solutions with excellent mechanical properties and finishes for the manufacture of power tool parts and housings. Reinforced (glass fiber) and impact-modified grades provide excellent compatibility in bi-material injection molding processes where they are combined with other materials, such as 2K elastomers.
