Conductive compounds in polyamide 6
NUREL offers a new range of compounds with added thermal conductive properties to provide solutions for new applications where heat dissipation is sought. Our new range of Promyde® PA6 compounds can achieve thermal conductivity values from 1 to 10 W/ mK.
Thermally conductive compounds of Promyde can be used to metal replacement in many applications where conductivity is required and also offers sustainable advantages such as reduced and easy waste management, a decrease in the use of chemicals and energy savings compared to any metal production process.
As a result, our thermally conductive compounds are the most suitable solution for the injection of electrical components, heat sinks in electric motors, processors, circuits, LED lamps, etc.
Advantages of Promyde vs. metallic materials
Offering many advantages over metallic materials such as:
- Low thermal expansion values
- High chemical resistance in aggressive environments
- Possibility of combining electrical insulation with thermal conductivity
- Color options
- Overall cost reduction in the manufacturing process
- Complex geometries can be produced

Applications
Electric Vehicle
We have been working for years on the development of specific engineering polymers for electric vehicles, providing solutions to new challenges, such as improving their autonomy, safety and sustainability.
Thermal Dissipators
NUREL offers the Promyde PA thermally conductive range suitable for replacing aluminum in heat sinks used in LED lights. This new PA6 compound facilitates efficient heat transfer away from electronic components, ensuring optimal operating temperatures. Combined with its electrical insulation properties and ease of processing, Promyde PA6 becomes the preferred material for manufacturing heat dissipators.
Industrial electrical components
Electrical components must meet high requirements including high temperature resistance, dimensional stability and chemical resistance. This type of parts uses PA, PBT and PP compounds. These materials ensure optimum and safe performance in electrical applications.
Vehicle exterior and headlights
Vehicle exteriors require unique solutions, such as UV resistance and surface finish. NUREL's polyamide compounds offer unique performance in terms of strength and durability, remaining unalterable for a longer period of time.
Train interior
NUREL offers specialized PA, PBT, PET, and PBT/PET compounds for train component solutions, including connections and cables. These compounds are UL94 certified and compliant with HL3 according to the EN45545 standard.
