INZEA compostable films can be used for the manufacture of more sustainable stand-up pouches, doypacks or resealable bags.
In order to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of food preservation, this type of packaging has a multi-material structure. This, together with the presence of organic remains in the packaging, makes it difficult to manage plastic waste.

Advantages of INZEA for stand-up pouches and doypacks
Among the many advantages of biopolymers, one of the most relevant is the possibility of ending their life cycle in contact with organic contentand being composted.
In addition, INZEA can be processed with the same equipment as current plastic coils, such as blown extrusion with monolayer or co-extrusion in Cast, replacing conventional structures with PE, PP, PET, PA, EVOH or paper.
INZEA offers the possibility of eco-designing this type of packaging, including water vapour and oxygen barrier properties, transparency, rigidity, resistance to hot filling, pasteurisation and sterilisation processes, chemical compatibility and contact with foodstuffs.
INZEA can also be laminated to paper or cardboard for different uses and applications.
