In order to provide a sustainable solution, INZEA replaces the conventional plastic materials used for the manufacture of T-shirt bags, allowing their compostability and biodegradation, in accordance with the bag regulations of each country. In this way, bags made with INZEA’s biopolymers avoid pollution caused by traditional plastic waste.

T-shirt bags made from INZEA’s biopolymers can be manufactured in a wide range of thicknesses, from lightweight 15 micron bags to reusable bags of more than 50 microns, with mechanical properties equivalent to bags made from conventional plastics.

Thanks to INZEA, quality and resistant grocery bags are obtained that can be reused as waste bags for the organic fraction.

The viscosityof INZEA T-shirt bag grades allows a stable production with good thickness distribution. They can be produced in conventional extrusion blow moulding technology with good production rates in both extrusion and bag making and with the possibility of printing without corona treatment.

INZEA offers more or less elastic grades to achieve the perfect balance between properties and processability.

INZEA’s biopolymers are the sustainable alternative to conventional plastic materials used in the manufacture of T-shirt bags, complying with the strictest compostability standards (EN13432 or ASTM 6400). INZEA has HOME COMPOST and OK COMPOST certified grades, which means that at the end of the T-shirt bag’s useful life, it can be composted together with organic matter in composting plants or by home composting.

To cover the entire spectrum of compostable T-shirt bag solutions, INZEA has solutions for bio-based content requirements up to 60%.
