INZEA biopolymers can be used as a compostable, paper-like solution for food packaging that folds like paper, tears like paper and offers distinct advantages over paper, making it the ideal compostable solution for fresh food.
Its high resistance to grease and moisture, combined with its sealing properties, make it the ideal material for packaging foods with specific requirements that conventional paper and cardboard packaging cannot meet.
Like the rest of the products in the INZEA range, the paper-like grades are compostable.

- The paper-like solution can be sealed to itself or with other INZEA grades, allowing transparent windows to be incorporated into the packaging.
- Paper-like offers grease resistance.
- INZEA paper-like grades provide moisture resistance.
- The paper-like solution can be processed in a conventional single-layer PE extruder, both in blown extrusion and flat sheet extrusion.
Paper like packaging
In general, all applications in which, after use, the packaging becomes highly contaminated with food or product and therefore difficult to recycle. In these cases, INZEA Paper-Like, being compostable, allows these packages to be composted together with organic waste. Some examples include:
- Wrappers for fresh food: butchery, fishmongery, bakery, etc.
- Thermoformed packaging or clamshells with a paper-like appearance
- Wrappers for natural cosmetics, such as solid care products resistant to grease and moisture
- Fast food wrapping
